Benesch & Associates, LLC - Peer Review Hearing Officer
In addition to advanced training in arbitration and mediation
through the AHLA, AAA, ICDR, CPR, the New York State Bar Association, the
State of New Jersey, and others, Ms.Benesch has completed the AHLA Peer
Review Hearing Officer training program, and has served as the sole Hearing
Officer in several complex medical staff disputes. As counsel, Ms. Benesch
has represented hospitals, physicians and their practice groups, Medical
Staff Executive committees and Vice Presidents for Medical Affairs in
numerous hospital and other fair hearings, as well as appeals to hospital
boards and in state and federal courts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West
Virginia. The longest medical staff case in which she participated as
counsel lasted fifteen years, and is the subject of a book describing the
case.
